Sports Therapist / Pilates Instructor
Beth is joining the OHP team from England, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Sports Rehabilitation, at the University of Salford. From a very young age Beth has always been involved in sport. Growing up in England, she developed a love for football and represented at county level. Beth’s love for sport developed her passion to pursue a career working with athletes to optimise their performance.
Beth takes a special interest in sports-specific late stage rehab and enjoys taking athletes through their return to play protocols. Beth likes promoting recovery and injury prevention to allow the athlete to be at the centre of their own care. In addition to this, Beth has gained certifications in dry needling, sports massage and Matwork/reformer Pilates to widen her skill set to provide individually tailored treatment plans. She has recently become trained in assessing and managing athletes with concussions and was selected to be the Sports Rehabilitator for team Canada during the ice hockey super series, promoting awareness and education for stopconcussion charity.
Beth has had the privilege to work with various sporting bodies at elite levels providing her with invaluable experience in injury management and rehabilitation of sporting injuries, as well as strength and conditioning.
Beth has worked within Major League Baseball in the United States alongside the Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies medical team. This experience led to further opportunities to travel to Serbia as the Sports Rehabilitator for the U18’s Great Britain Handball team and team Canada during the ice hockey super series.
In her spare time, Beth likes to keep active by running, cycling and surfing. She enjoys anything that gives her a new challenge and an adrenaline rush!
