Pelvis and Hip

Pelvis and Hip

The hip joint and the pelvic girdle can both be sources of acute or long standing pain in a number of people. Pain in the hip, pelvis and groin region can also be coming from other areas of the body such as the lower back, the sacroiliac joints, or even the abdomen in some instance to name a few.

It is important to get early assessment to determine the cause of the pain in light of a possible injury or the nature of the injury or condition. In the absence of a mechanism of injury there might be multiple contributing factors leading to an area being irritated and causing pain.
